Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone’s yearly prepaid plans will help you save money: Here’s how

The telecom giants Jio, Airtel and Vodafone have an interesting line-up of prepaid plans. Despite the price hike in December, the companies have not lessened the benefits and it has only gotten better. Jio, Airtel and Vodafone have all sorts of prepaid plan suiting the needs of different types of consumers. Some go for plans that provide all the facilities, some opt for plans with higher talk time while some don’t ponder much about the data plans.

So do you recharge your phone every month? In this article, we will tell you how you can save your money and time by opting for the annual prepaid plans. For instance, if you recharge your phone every month with Rs 249, you end up spending around Rs 2988 per year. Or let’s say you recharge your phone with even Rs 199, you still end up spending around Rs 2388 per year, depending upon your usage. However, instead of recharging your phone every month, if you opt for the yearly prepaid plans, you might just end up saving around Rs 400 to Rs 500, which by the day is not bad.

Jio’s yearly plan costs Rs 2020, which provides 1.5GB data per day, unlimited calling facility, 100 SMSes per day along with a free subscription to the Jio apps. The plan with the same data and calling benefits in Vodafone costs Rs 2399 and the Airtel plans costs Rs 2398. However, the monthly plans offering the same benefits in Jio costs Rs 199, in Vodafone and Airtel it costs Rs 249 per month.

So if you are a Jio subscriber and you recharge your phone with Rs 199 every month, you end up spending Rs 2399 a year but if you opt for Jio’s yearly plan costing Rs 2020, you will end up saving Rs 368 a year. Similarly, in Vodafone and Airtel, if you recharge your phone with Rs 249 every month, you end up spending Rs 2988. However, if you pick the yearly plans by these telecom brands, which costs Rs 2399, you would save at least Rs 589 a year. Clearly not a bad deal right?

However, you might have your own set of reservations or you might not want to spend the entire amount at one ago but if you carefully weigh in the pros and cons, you would understand its benefits. It will not only save your money but also your time. You will not have to worry about your pack getting over every month because you would know that the pack will go on for at least a year without any hindrances. Even if the telecom operators decide to increase the price, it would not affect you for at least some time as you would already be active on a prepaid pack.

So think carefully and spend wisely.
