iPhone 12 design leaked in new hands-on video, three new models revealed
Apple is rumoured to be working on multiple iPhones for 2020. Reports in the past have suggested that there could be as many as three new iPhone 12s launched this year, and now, we have our first look at them.
A new hands-on video has appeared which hints that Apple is looking to completely redesign iPhone 12 models later this year. This would see the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max being delivered with a fresh new look.
The new video shows that Apple’s new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a display design that’s similar to the iPhone 11. However, it’ll feature flat metal edges instead of rounded ones like current iPhones.
The hands-on comes courtesy of the Japanese news blog MacOtakara which claims to have gotten its hands on three physical mockups that are believed to accurately represent the designs of Apple’s upcoming new iPhone 12 models.
Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, had claimed the iPhone 12 range will comprise of four models, including a 5.4-inch version, two 6.1-inch models, and one iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display. However, the MacOtakara now claims that there will only be three phones as it hints in the video hint at different iPhone 12 display sizes. The smallest model sports a 5.4-inch display, the slightly bigger one has a 5.9-inch screen, and the largest one boasts of a 6.4-inch screen.
Previously, we’ve also seen new iPhone 12 Pro renders show a device that looks familiar to the iPhone 11 Pro models but differs slightly in many areas. The iPhone 12 Pro has been shown to get a design inspired by the current generation iPad Pro with flat edges. The phone is retaining the Slider as well as the volume buttons but it is shown losing out on the charging port. Instead, the iPhone 12 Pro is expected to solely rely on wireless charging for filling up its batteries!
