What Does ‘II.V.IV.V.’ Mean On Chandni Jain’s Wrist?

Hyderabad: Even as the police are trying to crack the mystery behind the 17-year-old Chandni Jain’s murder, a mysterious sign, something like Blue Whale, raises some questions and doubts.

The code-like sign in Roman numbers – II.V.IV.V. on the obverse side of the girl’s wrist caught the attention of the investigating officials. It was a tattoo but the numbers looked like a code though her family said it was her birthday. However, in no language or culture, this number which translates to Arabic numerals 2.5.4.5. can match her real birthday.

While the family says they have no enemies that can go to an extent of killing their daughter, the post-mortem report confirmed that she was strangulated to death. Gandhi hospital doctors will submit their report on Wednesday after which the exact reason for the death will be known, said Sangareddy SP Mr Chandrasekhar Reddy.

The police are investigating whether she was raped before the murder and also whether she was killed at the spot where her body was found or murdered somewhere else and the body was thrown at the deserted place.

Police are examining Chandni’s call data. Her contact list is reported to have included a code name – ‘myheart’ which might be a friend or lover.
